First Aid Backpack With Oxygen
GREEN CYLINDER NOT FOR USE IN CANADA Oxygen, water and food are necessary for life, and of the three, the lack of oxygen will lead to death most rapidly. Diving related injuries, such as lung barotrauma, decompression illness and near drowning decrease a diver’s ability to metabolize oxygen. Providing emergency oxygen at concentrations nearing 100 percent can reduce damage to oxygen starved tissues making a dramatic difference in injured divers’ conditions, and improving their response to further medical treatment. This kit comes fully stocked with a DAN Oxygen Unit capable of supplying a diver with oxygen for approximately 20 minutes and a first aid kit designed to deal with bleeding, CPR, burns, fractures and sprains, making it ideal for diving in areas where help is nearby but may not be immediately available. All of this is in a convenient, brightly colored backpack with reflective strips making it easy to transport and recognize in an emergency. A Demand Valve allows ventilations to be performed with oxygen in concentrations nearing 100 percent.
