Jelado Officer Shirt S/S Olive

This new line from Jelado draws inspiration from the Shibukaji (Shibuya Casual) movement in Tokyo during the late 1980s and 1990s. Born as a counterpoint to the high-fashion brand craze of the early ’80s, Shibukaji celebrated a more relaxed, effortless style favoured by students and young creatives. The Officer Shirt from Jelado returns following the popularity of the previous release, this time in an updated chambray fabric. Its design is based on a US Coast Guard (USCG) work shirt from around the 1950s, faithfully reproducing the distinctive details of the original. Large chest pockets have been finished with angular flap closures that give the shirt its unmistakable military character. The fabric is woven with a cotton-linen blend yarn through the weft, giving the fabric a crisp, dry handle with the breathability and reduced cling of linen.
