Vintage Princess Cut Natural Diamond Trilogy Ring, 18ct White and Yellow Gold, size P1/2 or 8, 3.37g

Fit for a vintage princess. We love a princes cut diamond - the cut, the sparkle, the shapes of those facets. So when we found this vintage Michael Hill (pre 1973) trilogy we were immediately taken by the 9 princess cut natural diamonds that grace this ring. The centre three stones are held in corner cap setting of white gold that offer not only lovely protection but a fabulous shiny white metal. We love this focus on them - both in size and metal choice - and then the side stones - bezel set into the 18ct yellow gold shoulders. The use of the same shape stones offers that symmetry, and the mixed metal is rich and warm whilst the diamonds offer lovely sparkle to the side of the finger. Trilogies symbolically represent the past present and future - and this has a sparkly future as far as we can see. Particulars: Size P1/2 or 8 (sizeable) Weight 3.37g Width 10.75 x 5mm x 5.3mm proud on a half round shank tapering to 1.85 x 1mm Diamonds - 3.9 x 3.7, 2 x 3.1 x 3.1 and 6 x graduated 1.9-2mm - total estimated carat weight 1ct Hallmarks MHJ 18CT Condition - the central stone has a chip near one claw - please see photos - like a little trough - ring has been priced accordingly. Some wear to corner caps - two moderately - the rest lightly. Light surface wear to band. Care - As a general rule - jewellery should not be worn for strenuous tasks that may put pressure, chemicals and weight on them (think cleaning, gym, swimming/spa, carrying things). Jewellery should be inspected checked every six months by a jeweller to check for wear. Please be aware that this item is pre-loved and therefore is NOT new.
