The Area 419 ARCALOCK Clamp for Atlas Bipods (stock code ARCALOCK Clamp, UPC 853675008860) is an ARCA-Swiss rail clamp that mounts a no-clamp Atlas bipod to an ARCA dovetail. It tensions with a black knob and indexes on Area 419's spring-loaded ARCALOCK locking pins, so the bipod is held by positive mechanical stops rather than clamping friction alone.Atlas bipods leave the factory on a two-screw Picatinny mount, on an American Defense lever mount, or as an NC "No Clamp" body with no mount fitted. None of them is natively ARCA. If your chassis or forend carries an ARCA dovetail, a clamp like this one is what joins the two.How It ComparesThis is the knob-tensioned ARCALOCK clamp: lighter and lower than the lever versions, and the one to choose if the bipod stays on the rifle. For quick-detach between stages, take the Area 419 ARCALOCK QD lever clamp. To cover ARCA and Picatinny rifles with one clamp, take the Area 419 ARCALOCK Dual-Clamp with Picatinny or the Really Right Stuff BTC-Pro dual ARCA and Picatinny clamp. You will need an NC-bodied bipod such as the Atlas BT10-NC V8 or Atlas BT65-NC CAL — see the full Atlas bipod range. If you would rather buy a bipod that is ARCA from the outset, the Accu-Tac Arca-Spec range and our wider ARCA bipods do exactly that.Ideal For F Class and benchrest shooters running an ARCA-railed forend Practical and precision rifle competitors who want a fixed, low, rock-solid bipod interface Deer stalkers with an ARCA rail who need the bipod to stay put in the field Anyone who already owns an NC "No Clamp" Atlas bipod and needs an ARCA mount for it Key Features Interface: ARCA-Swiss dovetail rail clamp Clamping: Black tensioning knob, hand-tightened Retention: Area 419 ARCALOCK spring-loaded locking pins index the clamp into ARCALOCK-compatible rails Fits: NC "No Clamp" Atlas bipods Brand: Area 419, made in the USA Supplied: Clamp with its mounting hardware Technical Specifications Type ARCA-Swiss rail clamp with knob tensioning and locking pins Rail Standard ARCA-Swiss dovetail Locking ARCALOCK spring-loaded locking pins Fits NC "No Clamp" Atlas bipods Brand / Origin Area 419 (USA) SKU / MPN / UPC ARCALOCK Clamp / ARCALOCK Clamp / 853675008860 What's Included1 × Area 419 ARCALOCK clamp with mounting hardwareUK Delivery & SupportThis clamp is UK-stocked and dispatched tracked from our UK warehouse — no import duties and no customs delays — backed by UK-based aftersales support.Frequently Asked QuestionsWhich bipods does the Area 419 ARCALOCK Clamp fit? The Area 419 ARCALOCK Clamp fits NC "No Clamp" Atlas bipods, which are supplied by B&T Industries without a mount so that the buyer can choose their own clamp. What rail standard does the Area 419 ARCALOCK Clamp attach to? The Area 419 ARCALOCK Clamp attaches to an ARCA-Swiss dovetail rail. It is not a Picatinny clamp; for Picatinny you need the ARCALOCK Dual-Clamp with Picatinny or the Really Right Stuff BTC-Pro.What do the ARCALOCK locking pins actually do? The ARCALOCK locking pins are spring-loaded stops that drop into the recesses of an ARCALOCK-compatible rail, so the clamp is held in place by a positive mechanical lock and cannot creep along the rail under recoil.Should I choose the knob clamp or the QD lever clamp? Choose the knob clamp if the bipod lives on the rifle, because it is lighter, lower and has nothing to snag. Choose the ARCALOCK QD lever clamp if you take the bipod on and off frequently, for example between stages of a match. Are Atlas bipods ARCA without a clamp like this? No. Atlas bipods are supplied with a two-screw Picatinny mount, with an American Defense lever mount, or as an NC "No Clamp" body, so ARCA mounting always comes from a separate clamp such as this one.
