Beginning Rigid Heddle Weaving with Sona Gardner

December 12, 2026 10am-2pm (with lunch break!) Students will learn the parts of a rigid heddle loom and basic weaving terminology before learning to warp the loom, weave a small project, and hem stitch to finish! Required Materials: Please bring your own rigid heddle loom! If you do not have a loom, there are looms available for rent on class day for an additional $15 (please reach out to hello@yarnalchemynwa.com to reserve a loom). Loom accessories: warping peg, shuttles, paper, cardboard strips, claps, and sley hook Optional: weaving stand Scissors All weaving materials will be provided.
