Our Premium Grade is the perfect daily unsweetened matcha green tea, ideal for rich and smooth hot or iced matcha lattes. It is positioned right below ceremonial-grade, and consists of both first and some second harvest leaves. ABC Premium Matcha is produced in Kagoshima, Japan, located on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu. This region is renowned for its volcanic soil, abundant rainfall, and suitable climate—all of which support the cultivation of nutrient-rich tea leaves. It’s made from Ichibancha leaves—shade-grown for enhanced chlorophyll, antioxidants, and L-theanine, resulting in a smoother, more nutrient-dense matcha. Produced using traditional methods: leaves are hand-plucked, de-veined, de-stemmed, and carefully stone-ground, maintaining texture and flavor Ou Premium Grade Blend is ideal for lattes, teas, smoothies, cocktails, and bakery applications, it boasts a bright emerald green color, umami-rich vegetal flavor with a hint of sweetness, and a smooth, buttery mouthfeel. We recommend a teaspoon, or 3 to 5 grams per serving.
