This CNC billet aluminium intake manifold is a direct upgrade for the Mercedes-Benz M271 1.8T Evo engine. It is machined from solid 6061 billet aluminium to replace the original plastic intake manifold, which commonly cracks and fails on these engines.The factory plastic manifold is a known weak point on the M271 1.8T Evo. Once it splits it causes vacuum leaks, rough running and limp mode. This billet replacement removes that failure point with a metal manifold built to take the heat and pressure of a turbocharged engine.Installation is plug and play. The manifold bolts straight onto the M271 1.8T Evo in place of the original part using the supplied custom-made bolts, and the kit includes a brand new sensor and SS304 stainless steel cable ties so everything needed to fit it is in the box.The black anodised finish resists corrosion and gives a clean look in the engine bay.
