The synergistic blend of gymnema sylvestre, chromium polynicotinate and alpha-lipoic acid works to modulate insulin sensitivity and stabilise peripheral blood glucose levels. Gymnema sylvestre, standardised to gymnemic acid, acts at the intestinal and taste receptor level to temporarily inhibit sweetness perception and mitigate sugar cravings.
