Colombia Mikava Marsella Red Bourbon

Paul and Kevin Doyle are the men behind Mikava which is one of the finest coffee farms on the planet today. In 2019 they won the Colombian Cup of Excellence with the highest score ever achieved in the contest. In 2023 their coffee was used to win the World Brewers Cup. They have become the coffee of choice for many competitors on the international competition stage. We are privileged to roast their coffees. This coffee is from Mikava's Marsella farm in the Risaralda region of Colombia. This coffee undergoes a Natural Carbonic Maceration process. Sorted whole coffee cherries are fermented in a temperature-controlled environment at 20 degrees celsius within sealed tanks for several days. Our tasting/cupping notes for this second coffee come from our Q Grader, Monika. She'll always find at least 7 or 8 aromas, taste notes etc and then select the three she finds most pronounced to put on our bags. For this coffee she selected Melon, Mandarin and Guava
