Bordeaux, France— A Blanc de Noirs of direct press Merlot, with a touch of direct-press Cabernet Franc and some skin-contact Muscadelle aged one year in old barrels. Fresh, alive and complex! Pithy grapefruit, green apple, white strawberry, grassy herbs, dried flowers with a peppery finish! Henri Duporge’s Chateau Le Geai is a maverick natural producer in Bordeaux, farming exclusively organic / biodynamically and focusing mostly non-traditional expressions of the region’s traditional varietals. Only 800 bottles produced.
