Antique Victorian Carved Banded Agate Torpedo Drop Earrings

Lovingly restored back to their original form with hand-fabricated, historically accurate 10k gold hooks and findings, these simple but striking carved banded agate earrings represent an enduring and popular style of the Victorian era. They came to me with modern silver hook replacements and missing end caps, but the quality of the agate, and the beauty of the polished carved drops and beads demanded they be restored to their former beauty. Most banded agate jewelry of this period is Scottish, and it is very likely that these earrings are, too. These earrings are in perfect, restored condition. Hooks and findings have all been replaced with custom alloyed, hand fabricated 10k gold. Each earring measures 2.25" from the top of the hook to the bottom of the drop.
