Ricasoli Feudo Toscana 2022

This estate was established in the heart of the Chianti Classico Region as the Castellodi Brulio in 1141. This makes Barone Ricasoli one of the four oldest wine estates in the world… now that’s pretty cool! This wine is the fun fruit forward style but still has some gravitas to boot. A blend of primarily Sangiovese with a dash of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks with just two weeks contact with the skins. The wines post fermentation period is 8-9 months, in a mixture of old oak barrels of varying sizes. Ripe and sour cherry notes with lovely soft earthy tannins. 14% vol.
