Written for the 33 rd Sunday in Ordinary Time Yr A, this psalm is also set for the Feast of the Holy Family in Yr A and is also used for Wedding ceremonies. The setting has a lovely lilt being in ¾ time. It expresses a mood of contentment. The Response is easily memorised by the Assembly and the melodic phrases of the verses are beautifully balanced.
