In its hardened form, it is skin-safe, but it should never be ingested. When breaking glass items, avoid direct contact with the eyes. Do not push the glass into an actor or object—instead, break it over them gently to simulate realistic impact without injury. If introducing liquids into the breakaway glass, ensure the liquid is at a similar temperature to the glass. Sudden changes in temperature (hot or cold) can cause thermal shock and lead to unintended breakage. Store breakaway glass in a cool, dry place. Avoid temperatures above 30°C (86°F), as high heat can cause the material to warp or melt.
