Winged skull with a coffin shape vesuvianite gemstone pendant The winged skull was a popular symbol on gravestones throughout the 18th century; a classic memento mori symbol. Inspired by Olivia Faust painting Strawberry Burial, this winged skull has a a very distinct touch. All the elements were first hand-fabricated before being molded and cast, giving them that perfectly imperfect look. the winged skull part is about 6mm wide, 30mm long, slightly curved for best fit on a 2.4mm oval trace chain, choose your length in the options (I'd recommend adding .25 inch to your wrist measurement) will be made just for you, in 3-4 weeks. This collection was created in collaboration with artist Olivia Faust, whose hauntingly beautiful work served as the inspiration behind each piece. With her blessing and creative input, I translated her signature motifs, sugar-coated decadence, and vintage goth aesthetics into wearable art.
