Early 20th Century Industrial Chestnut And Cast Iron Drafting Table

This early 20th century industrial adjustable architect's desk or drafting table is circa the 1920s. The 42" w x 32" ht chestnut top connects to a shapely cast iron pedestal base with three snake legs ending on rounded stylized feet. The cast iron base is height adjustable from 31 - 40" that loosens and secures with the paddle screw at the top of the base. The top is tilt adjustable from level horizontal to a vertical slant making this drafting table appropriate as a sitting or standing desk or for use as an industrial dining table. Solid sturdy condition. The top has been refinished.
