Mexican Golden Red Rump Tarantula

Brachypelma albiceps apx 1" - 1.5" New World terrestrial tarantula known for its striking contrast of a shimmering golden-blonde carapace, jet-black legs and a dark abdomen covered in bright red hairs. Native to the central highlands of Mexico, particularly Guerrero and Morelos, this species is widely considered one of the best choices for beginner keepers due to its exceptionally docile and hardy nature. Size: They reach a maximum diagonal leg span of approximately 6 to 6.5 inches Lifespan: This is a long-lived species; females can live for 20 to 25+ years, while males typically live about 5 years. Growth Rate: They are slow to medium growers. Spiderlings may take several years to show full adult coloration.
