IMPRESSED by Spring: Botanical Plate (2 Day)

IMPRESSED by Spring: Botanical Plate Celebrate the shift of the season through clay and texture. In this two-part workshop, you’ll create a botanical plate using real flowers and plants, capturing their delicate forms directly into the surface of clay. In your first session (2 hours), you’ll handbuild your plate and press seasonal botanicals into the surface, creating natural patterns and soft relief textures. Each piece becomes a quiet record of spring, organic, imperfect, and completely your own. After we bisque fire your work, you’ll return for a second session (1 hour) to bring your piece to life with underglaze watercolor techniques and a final glaze finish. A slow, tactile process that moves from imprint to colour, grounded in observation and material. We’re also offering this workshop as a special Mother’s Day experience — a thoughtful way to spend time together or create a meaningful handmade gift. All materials, firings, and instruction are included. No experience needed.
