Sculptural Cocoon Light – Mid-Century Goldkant Wall & Ceiling Lamp by Friedel Wauer

Beautiful large cocoon-shaped ceiling or wall lamp from the mid-20th century by the German manufacturer Goldkant, based on a design by Friedel Wauer from the 1960s. This very special wall or ceiling lamp can be mounted directly to the wall or ceiling. In the center is a copper disc with a screw connecting the lamp housing to the base plate. At the time, the manufacturer Goldkant was known for its diverse cocoon lamp designs. The lamp is in very good condition and has a beautiful patina; it comes with 3 LED bulbs included!
