Proximel Ag Silicone Foam Dressing consists of a silicone wound contact layer, a superabsorbent fiber layer and a film layer that is both waterproof and vapor permeable. Designed to encourage dynamic fluid management, the dressing’s five-layer construction provides an optimal, moist wound environment to promote faster healing. The gentle silicone layer can also be moved without losing adherence. Consists of 0.25-0.35 mg/cm2 silver ions and provides antibacterial effectiveness within the dressing for up to 7 days.
