Strelitzia are a large statement piece to be added into the home. These beauties have fabulous leaf's tall thick stems and create architectural statement. Pot Size 16cm Hight 70cm Typical Growth Size These can grow massive in the right environment but unless your home is the Eden project you will be okay. Care ☀️ Sunlight ☀️ This plant loves bright indirect sunlight. To much direct light can scorch the leaves. These would love a south facing room filled with light just not in the window. 💧Watering 💧 Prefers a moist soil. Don’t let it get swampy or it will get root rot! Wait till the top 3 inch’s has dried out and give a thought watering. For this we recommend removing the plant from its decorative pot and placing it in the sink or shower. This will allow you to give it a though drink. Feel free to use your shower it will love a bit of “rain”. Allowing all the water to drain fully before returning it to its home. ♨️ Humidity ♨️ This is a tropical plant so it loves humidity. Mist regularly or you can place it on a tray with damp pebbles. It is from a jungle environment so very happy in a humid home. 🪴 Soil 🪴 The best soil for this plant is a chunky well draining mix. We recommend using a combination of wood chips, perlite, house plant soil and worm castings. The best time to repot is either when you first get your plant or when it needs a pot upgrade, this could be the same time! If you are looking to repot your plant because it’s current one is to small. You will need a draining pot 2-4in bigger than its current pot. Store collection only. Pot sold separately.
