Small Moroccan Hand-knotted Rug

Overview: This rug was made in the Boujad style, known for its abstract, shape-based design. This little guy was the byproduct of cutting a larger Boujad runner into two pieces. We were on the hunt for shorter runners, and one way to find them quickly is to find a long runner you like and then cut and sew it. This resulted in a runner that was the exact length we wanted, and this smaller piece as a bonus. This piece features a rich tableau of black line work against a faded green and lavender background. We love the little pops of sky blue that poke through! As a smaller piece, this would be great in a bathroom, as a bedside runner, or as an entranceway rug! Wherever you put it, we would recommend adding a rug pad in order to anchor it in place and give a little more coziness underfoot.
