Still running on the streets of Hiroshima, this special carriage now also runs on your feet. This special pair was born from the encounter between the tramway that has supported the lives of the people of Hiroshima, and a handmade sneaker brand originating from Hiroshima. Inspired by the rare Type 350, of which only one carriage is currently in active service at the Hiroshima Electric Railway, this design has been incorporated into SPINGLE’s classic “SP-110” model. The Type 350, which served as the base, was preceded by the Type 850 introduced in 1958 as a direct operation vehicle to the Miyajima Line, and was renumbered to its current format in 1971. It served as a high-performance vehicle equipped with a high-output motor, and subsequently continued to run through the streets of Hiroshima exclusively as a city line vehicle. In 2023, Tram 351 and Tram 353 retired, leaving only Tram 352 currently in operation (as of 2025). Furthermore, until 2019, it was used as a training and testing vehicle to train drivers, making it making it a deeply memorable and beloved presence for many operators. With attention to every detail—from the appearance of the Type 350 to its impressive coloring, logo, and destination sign— every element has been carefully recreated through SPINGLE’s signature craftsmanship. The upper uses lightweight and supple kangaroo leather. Softly wrapping around the foot, it naturally conforms from the very first wear, delivering exceptional comfort that feels almost like an extension of your own foot. Two colors of laces are included: white and khaki. White gives a fresh and light impression, while khaki further enhances the retro atmosphere reminiscent of the Type 350. Please enjoy switching them according to your mood or styling. Furthermore, a special shoebox and sticker exclusive to this collaboration are also included. The shoebox, featuring green illustrations on a white base, and a limited edition sticker decorated with the logo mark on the Type 350 vehicle, create a sense of exclusivity.
