It brings back memories of boating across to Dalkey Island and fishing off the rocks in years gone by. My approach to this canvas, was more about composition, balance, movement and colour. Rather than letting the actual subject matter dominate the artwork. This approach to painting, means that even if I paint the same subject many times, each painting will be different.
