Vintage 40s Carl-Art Brooch Art Deco Sterling Silver GF Aqua Pin

A free-form ribbon design with bright aqua blue crystal stones, make up this vintage Art Deco era sterling silver and gold vermeil brooch by Carl-Art, circa 1940s. The sculptural cocktail pin has a sterling silver base with a 12K gold fill vermeil, and features a curling ribbon floral design, bezel set with two round faceted aquamarine colored stones. It measures approximately 1&1/2 inches wide at its widest point by 2&1/4 inches high, weighs 11.1 grams and is marked with “1/20 12K G.F. on Silver”, along with the Carl-Art signature of “C A” with a traversing arrow, within a rectangular cartouche.
