Best space & place Asplenium antiquum thrives in bright, indirect light but will tolerate lower light positions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the foliage. Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and offices where humidity levels are naturally higher. When to water & feed Keep the compost lightly moist, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Water around the soil rather than directly into the centre of the rosette, as standing water can cause the crown to rot. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Need to know Bird's Nest Fern enjoys higher humidity and appreciates occasional misting or placement near other plants. Remove any damaged fronds at the base and gently dust the leaves to keep them looking their best.
