Bought through an intermediary. Recorked in her warehouse. She still doesn't know where it went. She wouldn't have sold to me directly — I was told if she knew who was buying, she'd say no. So we went through someone she trusts, and the deal got done. Her own corks are already pure abstract art — almost impossible to trace back to her. That wasn't enough for her. She insisted on completely blank corks, pulled every original one out by hand, and recorked every bottle in her warehouse before it shipped. She didn't want her team seeing the labels.
