90" & 72" Indigo Circuits Table Runners

These table runners are woven in a historical overshot pattern that looks like a circuit board (to me at least!) I had fun playing with a new 100% hemp yarn I'm trying out. The hemp yarn is crisp and fine, perfect for table runners. Did you know that hemp has antimicrobial and stain resistant properties? When undyed this yarn has a pale grassy color, but when I dipped the yarn in indigo it turned the most beautiful shades of sky blue. I combined the dyed and undyed yarns in various stripes to create a color transitions that emphasize the woven structure. Size: 15" wide The 72" version of this table runner is asymmetrical and features blue on one end and undyed cream on the other end. The 90" version of this table runner is symmetrical and is blue at both ends with cream in the center. Warp: 100% USA grown (Texas) and spun organic cotton Weft: 100% hemp yarn dyed with indigo at my own studio
