Davis Stadium as the Southern League affiliate of the Oakland Athletics (1985–1998) and later the Milwaukee Brewers (1999–2014). The Stars won three Southern League championships (1985, 1994 and 2001) and served as a proving ground for future big-league stars — Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire, Jason Giambi, Miguel Tejada and Tim Hudson all wore the uniform on their way up.
