Flap Sofa

Sofa designed by Francesco Binfaré for Edra, 2000. Upholstered in red leather, Flap reimagines the sofa as a configurable landscape, designed to accommodate different uses, postures and ways of sitting. The reclining elements, each mounted on double steel mechanisms, can be adjusted to six different angles, functioning in turn as a backrest and armrest. This example is distinguished by its stretch-fabric back upholstery in a matching red tone, a detail no longer found in current production. Design: 2000 Dimensions: W 355 × D 166 × H 84 cm
