Here’s an offering from our friend Andy of Andy Taylor Custom guitars. The C-3PO has affectionately been dubbed the “Les Small” (or Less Paul?) due to its similarities and smaller body size. At 25” scale length the string feel is somewhere between the snappiness of a tele and the warmth of a Les Paul and draws comparisons with PRS style instruments. The guitar sports a Les Paul pickup configuration with a lovely set of Mick Briefly Vintage Humbuckers. The C-3PO is constructed with all Australian timbers. It features a Southern Silky Oak body with QLD Kauri top, a neck made of Northern Silky Oak and a fretboard made of Casuarina lace wood. With a nut width of 41.5mm, the neck has a slender feel with a slight V profile to it, medium jumbo frets and black binding with white dots. Being a 2023 model this has had some light use as evidenced by some scuffing on the back. Overall this guitar is in great shape. Note this guitar has no hard case. One will need to be sourced at buyers expense if we are to ship this guitar to you. ______________________________ Brand: Andy Taylor Custom Model: C-3PO Country: AUS Year: 2023 Serial: N/A Case: N/A Body Colour: Translucent Red Neck Colour: Translucent Red Finish Type: Nitro Body Material: Southern silky oak with QLD Kauri top Neck Material: Northern Silky Oak Fretboard Material: Casuarina lace wood Scale Length: 25” Frets: 24 Fretboard Radius: 9.5” Action (Low E): 2mm Neck Profile: slim, Soft V Nut: 41.5mm, Tusq 12th Fret Width: 51.9mm 1st Fret Depth: 22mm 12th Fret Depth: 23.8mm Pickups: Mick Brierley Vintage Humbuckers Resistance: Neck: 7.28K, Bridge: 7.91K Electronics: 2X Vol 2X tone, 3 way selector Knobs: Top Hat Pick Guard: N/A Tuners: Sperzel locking Hardware: Chrome Weight: 7.5lb (approx)
