Ginkgo

A sculptural porcelain wall installation composed of 15 individually formed elements arranged as a suspended spatial composition. Developed as a modular system, the work explores rhythm, balance, reflection, and negative space through an asymmetrical arrangement that shifts with light and viewpoint. Each element is hand-formed in porcelain and finished in matte porcelain, white glaze, or 24 ct gold lustre, creating subtle variations in tone, depth, texture, and surface reflection across the composition. Differences in scale, spacing, and orientation establish a balance between structure and irregularity, allowing the installation to feel both calm and atmospheric. Each element is individually high-fired and mounted using concealed fittings, resulting in a distinct installation with slight natural variations in form and finish.
