A pair of Vintage Chinese Foo Dog Vases

A nice small pair of vintage Chinese glazed vases with classical Foo Dog ornamentation. The lower half is of white ground and profusely decorated with traditional floral and birdlife scenes, beautifully detailed and with particularly vibrant colours enclosed below and above by blue and white friezes. The top half is on a black ground, where the double Food Dogs each side are to be found, again bordered with blue and white friezes. This lovely pair of Chinese vases are of a nice small size and easy to place in any room, one vase complete with a four character mark. Height 36cm / Diameter 19cm (1930's)
