Join Millie Gooch founder of Sober Girl Society and author of Hangxiety (coming Sept 2026) for a virtual workshop on using writing as a tool to support your mental health and wellbeing. Millie will guide you through how writing can help you process emotions, find calm and unlock creativity. In the workshop we will explore: - Millie’s personal journey and how writing has helped her navigate big emotions - Common myths about writing, what might be holding you back and why anyone can be a writer - Four guided writing exercises (just bring a pen and paper!) Whether you’re sober, sober-curious, a seasoned writer or someone who’s never put pen to paper come along for a gorgeous feel good evening and discover how writing can support your mental health. When: Thursday 4th June Time: 7pm-8pm UK Time Where: Zoom (You will be sent the Zoom link when you have purchased your ticket.) About Millie Gooch: After years of partying and hangovers started taking a toll on her mental health, Millie gave up alcohol in February 2018, starting Sober Girl Society 7 months later. Having worked at Hearst Magazines for 5 years as a lifestyle journalist, Millie now writes about sobriety for various publications and her activism work around sobriety has been featured in Red, Stylist, The Telegraph, Refinery29, Elle, Cosmopolitan, UniLad, Bustle, Delish and many more!
