Circa 1980 Height: 39mm The QO monogram reversed and intertwined over the galloping horse of Hanover both in white gold and set with diamonds, encircled by the Garter in yellow gold set with navy blue enamel and surmounted by the St Edward’s crown in white gold and set with red enamelling the cushion and diamonds. An amalgamation of the 3rd The King’s Own Hussars and the 7th Queen’s Own Hussars in 1958, the QOH merged with the Queen’s Royal Irish Hussars to form The Queen’s Royal Hussars (The Queen’s Own and Royal Irish) in 1993.
