The village has been designated as a DOCG since 2003 as a mark of the constant quality of its whites and once you’ve tasted this it’s easy to see why. Even though it is located in one of the warmest parts of Italy, the mountainous aspect of the region means that grapes for Greco di Tufo are never picked before the beginning of October and still manage to retain their freshness. In terms of viticulture, this is practically unheard of. Combine this with the volcanic soils of the region and you have a verstaile wine of distinct character and harmony. Enjoy!
