Antique Darts with Advertising Clayton's Drinks Flights & Leather Case c1950 Mid 20th Century A lovely collectors item including three darts in their original leather case. The removable dart flights are promotional pieces for Clayton's drinks including: Clayton's Ginger Beer, Clayton's Lemonade & Clayton's Tonic Water. Clayton's was a well recognised drinks company, founded by the Clayton brothers in 1880. They were renowned for their non-alcoholic drinks and were recognised by their iconic marketing slogan 'The drink you have when you're not having a drink'. The set of flights would have been a promotional item for the company and been used within bars, pubs, social and workingmen's clubs. A great item for collectors of darts, social history and antique advertising. A wonderful gift for a dart lover and to be displayed in a cabinet, man cave, garage or by a dart board.
