Designer: Geoffrey Bawa This ashtray stand was designed for Kandalama Hotel’s Café Kachan in 1997. Bawa’s idea was to design an ashtray that need not be placed on the table, rather it could be placed diagonally behind the smoker and thus smoke would be directed away from other diners at the table. The re-edition has been adjusted for fabrication with precision machined parts and fastening methods. Materials: Aluminium Dimensions: W 258mm x D 258mm x H 750mm
