Healing Trauma-Based Wounds in Religious Life: Vita Consecrata 2025

The major part of the course will be a psychological analysis of trauma and the wounds they cause. There will also be a spiritual component centered on forgiveness, inner asceticism, and prayer in the healing process. Various approaches to healing will also be presented and a brief look into canon law in what it has to say about safeguarding.
