Poppy Seeds

Certified organic poppy seeds (khus khus) from our partner cooperatives in AP and Karnataka. This was cultivated and dried without any chemical use. These are nutty, provide a slightly earthy flavour and satisfying crunch, and are widely used in global cuisines as a spice, garnish, and thickening agent. Poppy seeds can be soaked and ground into a creamy paste to thicken and flavour curries, rich gravies, curries, and desserts like kheer.
