Beat Scene 62: “Charles Bukowski’s Scarlet” by Pamela “Cupcakes” Wood
Kevin Ring’s Beat Scene magazine is a treasure for Bukowski and Beat fans alike. I’m in the “never the twain shall meet” camp, but in this case the exception is deserved. Plus, Kevin’s a good guy who put a lot of work and high production value into each issue of the magazine. Not too much Bukowski in this one. Just a one-page review of “Charles Bukowski’s Scalet” by Pamela “Cupcakes” Wood. This copy is in Very Good ++ condition with bumps to the corners and some rubbing on the covers. The stables on this one are also oxidized. Issues of Beat Scene are getting harder and harder to find these days.
