1980-81 F/W Hannya Mask Geometric Knit Tassel Cardigan

This 1980-81 F/W Kansai Yamamoto unisex cardigan jacket was made in Japan of thick red and black 50% wool/50% acrylic knit, with the Japanese demon 'Hannya' is appliquéd on the front right side and back. Pieces with similar design elements were featured on that season's runway, including the 11.5" long black suede tassels under the sleeves and mixed geometric patterns. It also has shoulder pads, two front pockets, and suede-covered buttons up the front. There are small snags throughout the knit but it's otherwise in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
