[OUTLET] May All Things Dissolve in the Ocean of Bliss – Aya Takano Art Works
This book is a collection of 40 representative works by Aya Takano from 2011 onward, including works from her solo exhibition of the same title held at Kaikai kiki Gallery in 2014. Aya Takano, who has been painting a cosmic worldview free from earthly gravity and common sense, reached a major turning point after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. She began to confront the fundamental nature of the real world and reached a state of prayer and affirmation that embraces life and death through her works. In a conversation between art critic Midori Matsui and Takano, the dramatic changes that appeared in her works are vividly deciphered. *Japanese and English
