Description The Mcusta Sengoku Busho series celebrates Japan's most famous Samurai from the Sengoku Jidai ("Age of warring states"). Takeda Shingen (1521-1573) 武田信玄 (風林火山) The Red/Black Pakkawood handle is designed from the Samurai armor and laser engraved with "Takeda Shingen" in Kanji and his family crest. MC-187G "TAKEDA SHINGEN" has Tsuchime Hammered Finished SPG-2 San Mai Clad blade. (HRC62) SPG-2 (Super Gold II) is a powder metallurgy ‘super steel’ that has become a popular knife steel because of its jaw-dropping cutting performance, excellent edge retention and high corrosion resistance. MC-187G features "TAKEDA SHINGEN" name & family crests (Kamon) is laser engraved on the Red/Black Pakkawood Handle. The blade has a 'false edge' on the spine and ambidextrous Thumb Hole that allow one-handed blade deployment. The unique oiled washer system provides a silky-smooth action and the liner lock mechanism is sturdy and reliable. The 4-3/4" (120mm) machined Blue Pakkawood Handle is laser engraved and has brass pins and a lanyard hole. Now comes with Pocket clip attached on end of the handle (reversible to right or left side) for easier pocket carry.
