Kuula, T. - Kehtolaulu (Arranged for Viola and Piano)

Toivo Kuula (1883–1918) was a prominent Finnish composer and a student of Jean Sibelius. Kehtolaolu, or "Cradle Song" is the first of the 5 Pieces for Violin and Piano, Op. 3a,composed between 1905 and 1907. They are among his most celebrated instrumental works, reflecting his background as an aspiring violinist. I have attached two versions of the viola part - one is easily accessible in first position only, and the second is as written.
