What was once glittering rubies in the glass is now a rich garnet. An aged beauty, enriched and complex after 11 years ageing in the cellar. Sangiovese is one of great examples of ageable reds, especially when you add in a touch of structural Cabernet. Carried by a linear acidity and staunch structure, juicy summer fruits have dried and caramelised, warm baking spices have risen to the foreground and a lingering earthiness stands in good stead alongside softened tannins.
