Explosion Proof Industrial Ceiling Light by Tomar, USA

A reclaimed explosion-proof industrial ceiling light, featuring a cast aluminium ribbed body with a tempered prismatic glass diffuser. Manufactured in Arizona, USA by Tomar Electronics. With its compact, engineered form and substantial weight, this pendant is well suited to kitchens, studios, hospitality and commercial interiors where a more industrial, architectural lighting aesthetic is desired. Reclaimed from industrial environments, this fixture was originally designed to maintain safe operation in hazardous conditions, including steel mills, oil refineries and mining sites. It features the manufacturers plate screwed to the front edge and has industrial markings cast into the metal at the top of the fixture. A modern industrial fitting, produced from the mid-2000s onwards, it incorporates an integrated thermal management system with internal cooling fins that dissipate heat away from the LEDs, ensuring extended lifespan and consistent light output. Each light has been carefully refurbished by hand in our UK workshop and fully rewired using new CE-certified or UL-listed electrical components. Supplied with a ceiling hook and hanging chain, the fixture offers a standard drop length of approximately 100cm from ceiling to base. Each light is fitted with a high-quality braided electrical cable.
