HAND-SELECTED WESTCOMBE CHEDDAR Complex and grassy. Westcombe Cheddar cheese is a traditional cloth-wrapped Cheddar, hand-made in Somerset, with a complex, grassy flavour. GORGONZOLA PICCANTE Dense, spicy and mouth-filling. First made in the caves of Valassina in Gorgonzola, by travelling cow herders in the 9th century. CasArrigoni select the cheeses that will have a sharper taste and denser consistency than their Dolces, and age them for longer too. LANGRES Unctuous under the rind, and a slight acidity of flavour. Langres has a characteristic dip at the top, which is caused by the fact that the cheese is only turned once during maturation. The dip is not, as some say, intended as a receptacle for Champagne. SAUCISSON VIN CAHORS A saucisson rich in flavour, with added Cahors wine for a unique and incomparable taste. DEVODIER COPPA Nicknamed ‘the money muscle’, it is marbled and tender with a full-flavoured taste. MILLER'S ALE CHUTNEY Spicy and fruity. Apples, tomatoes, dried fruits, seasoning – and ale. THE FINE CHEESE CO. EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL AND SEA SALT CRACKERS Intentionally subtle, so as to never overwhelm the cheese. Flavoured with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt. THE FINE CHEESE CO. TOAST FOR CHEESE DATES, HAZELNUTS AND PUMPKIN SEEDS Thin, light and crisp toast (baked twice like biscotti) and uniquely studded with fruits, nuts and seeds.
