A polystyrene foam core sits between two sheets of acid-free paper, giving photographers, artists, and framers a backing that helps protect valuable work whether it is on display or in long-term storage. Both facers are free from damaging pollutants and harmful gases, so either side can take your adhesive or artwork. PAT compliant. Meets the Photographic Activity Test standard for safe contact with photographs. Buffered to stay acid-free longer. Liners carry pH values of 7.5 to 9.5 with a 3–5% calcium carbonate reserve.
