Installed inside the individual outer pot, it helps prevent roots and larger particles of growing media or debris from entering the system pipework and returning to the reservoir. The filter consists of a durable plastic cage incorporating copper mesh. The copper helps discourage roots from growing into the filter and pipework, reducing the risk of restricted flow and blockages within the system. Compatible with Standard & Pro IWS Systems The filter measures approximately 110mm long and incorporates a 25mm female thread. It can attach to a 1-inch male drain hose tail on IWS Pro systems or be used with a reducing grommet for older 16mm IWS systems.
